Bedraggled but triumphant after canopy tour (rain persisting down). It involved a trek up to base station by horse - never ridden a horse before!!

Tabacon hot springs resort. Imagine a swedish massage followed by 20 mins in hot springs then sitting at this bar (a bit like the one at Grotto Bay) drinking a cool beer and watching the fiery red lava erupt from volcano Arenal, while the warm, humid night air is filled with the cries and insistent noise of a thousand exotic animals. It was good.
